Why? Why oh why do we have to do this. How are we to work? Do the big wigs know that we have to have a file open on the desk in order to work it? I have just seen them passing by. They have not even stopped to look at our desks. We got the same email again on yesterday around 3:00pm in the afternoon. PUT EVERY FILE AWAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE DAY!
Well I did but I did not put them away..not in ABC order because they were not really ready to be placed in the drawer in ABC order..so they went in the back of a file cabinet stacked. As I got calls or needed that file , I pulled in out. I tried to work it to death so that I COUlD get it back in the drawer in ABC order. I got 2 finished. Well, only one more day and then I can again create my stacks of folders and papers. You may not know what to find where, but I know. There is a method to the madness and I can find any piece of paper needed in 2.5 seconds.
Tomorrow morning is a corporate meeting..state of the company. Let's hope I can stay awake. Right now I am sleep deprived.
What I do is kick them in the pants with a diamond buckled shoe!

thank you josh!i will visit your blog! joann...we got the same email again on friday. apparently the head guys in our office liked the stark, no folder, no working look and decided we needed to keep it. We got that same email on friday that all files needed to be put away and that we needed to be "selective" in what we hung in our cubicle/offices. the cubicle police cometh!
