Irish Shoes

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I started the day with my new Celtic Woman CD. I was saving it for today. I had to go on a business trip for work today so, I was able to listen to the entire disc on the way to where I was going. I had seen the Celtic Woman perform on PBS several months ago and I was blown away. They were fab! The CD was great. They did 2 of songs that were also on my Lord of the Dance CD. You know how I love all things celtic! These 2 cd's are great.

Michael Flatley's Shoes!
Irish Drinking Toast

When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So, let's all get drunk, and go to heaven!

Irish Blessing

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer
you.
Irish Curse

May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.

What I do is kick them in the pants with a diamond buckled shoe!
