Careful What You Wish For

 I bought the lovely bag back in December.  Actually I saw it in TJ Maxx and debated for three weeks before putting it on layaway.  I was in love.  It had all things I liked.  It was black, roomy and I loved the fur.  Real!  I had researched the brand, Aqua Madonna and liked what I saw so, I decided to get it. 

Weeks later I was thrilled to get out of  layaway.  It was $129.00.  I got it home and wrapped it and put it under the tree for  Christmas. A gift from me to me.  Well, early January I swapped out my purses and voila!  I was using my new purse.  I just know I looked just like all those skinny girls on pinterest carrying the big tote with the leggings, boots and slouchy sweaters on .  you couldn't tell me nothing.  I took it to work and it looked beautiful on my purse hook at my desk.

What is it about that purse? That thing is damned heavy.  It is all leather trim. suede inside and covered with fur.  It is extremely heavy just like lugging around a side of a cow on your arm.  OMG!  It is so frigging heavy.  It is the heaviest purse I have ever had.  My daughter was even telling me I needed to take it back, it was so heavy.  I wish I had listened to her.  The time to make a Christmas return is long past and I have a purse that is as heavy as the side of a cow to carry around.

At least it is still pretty!

The Purple Shoes

I saw these shoes at my local Steinmart and they screamed at me to buy them.  Why?  Purple!  I thought they were beautiful and they are a great brand. Bandolino.  I have been buying Bandolino shoes my whole life!  I tried them on in the store and they fit well.  This was about mid fall...in November.  I totally forgot about them until today.  I have a fashion event I am attending this week and I am trying to put together my outfit down to the shoes.  I just remembered I bought them. 

That also means that I have 2 days to wear them around the house and break them in.  They are suede with just a little faux crocodile trim.  In my wardrobe, purple goes with any color.  Any!  I can wear these shoes with any dress I have.  They will be the contrast. Most def!  I just hope that the weather will be good this week. I won't wear suede in the rain! 

Most likely people wear suede in the winter only.  Not me!  I wear suede shoes all year.  Plus: “I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.”  Alice Walker, The Color Purple.

Yellow Box Shoes

This is the Goldie by Yellow Box and I have them. They were one of 6 pairs of shoes I bought at one time when the chain Parisians went out of business. This was in February. People were pretty cut throat the day I went. The same was a good one and the shoe were maked to 70% off a that time. If you saw something, you had better pick it up and walk with it until you made up your mind that you really did want it. I was going to get two pairs and put one pair down. I walked away to another shoe rack to look and about 25 minutes later I decided that I had better get the 2nd pair of Yellow Box Shoes. Too late..they were long gone. But that was okay. I left with six pairs total that day that I was most happy with.

I have yet to wear them, but I plan to strut my stuff in them this summer. Pretty cool shoes!

What I do is kick them in the pants with a diamond buckled shoe!
