I didn't know about the shoes and Andy.
Hi Tinker,
Andy Warhol had such a unique life! I will look forward to hearing about the book! Great posting of pictures and shoes, take care from Holly
Tinker was a very interesting post to read! thanks!
You are so right no milk. I knew about the shoes as I had heard that in the past but I never really looked up any of his works on shoes until this post. thanks holly! always glad to see you and everyone else stopping by here!
Reminds me of high heel art by Mark Schwartz
I have been trying to track down a Andy Warhol Book that has a color illustration of his High Button shoe "Mae West" which he created in 1956 and is in the collection of Mr. and Mrs. David Evins.
Andy Warhol shoes really rocks...they have the unique characteristic...I love the illustration above...
I guess we have some fantastic collection of shoes in here and they look stylish
I am sure I saw an Andy Warhol book depicting his drawing of his version of a Mae West shoe. Can't remember the book unfortunately. Perhaps someone reading this blog may know. Cheers!

I have bought the painting given to Lorne Micheals 1980 from Warhol . That year warhol was on SNL.
But Micheals must have let go of the painting here in Toronto where I bought it, Micheals is from Toronto
